The Infection-Lore

There are a lot of things that need to be discussed before we begin, so here is a little history:

The First Bird-
    The flingor creature has been around for only 20 generations, but that is only because of how close the beginning began. Ok, so it all started with a group of birds that were not happy with the cats in the neighborhood. "Why do they keep eating us?" crow cawed. "Cats are very unpleasant to my chicks. One ate my son!" quail hummed. "Last winter, a cat stalked up to my husband. He was lucky that he flew away in time." cardinal said. "A cat climbed my favorite tree last time I looked for sap." woodpecker tweeted. As the birds complained, owl flew to the quarreling group. "Why do you complain about the felines? I got a plan to make you stop." it hooted. Owl told the group to have chicks that would someday marry the cats, and then the cross-species would someday overthrow the felines. All of the birds agreed, except for stubborn crow. "What are you guys thinking? Those crossbreeds will look horrible! With prey marrying predator, we'll only cause more deaths. If that even succeeds, how would they destroy the cat species?" Falcons overheard Crow talk, and they dived down onto the meeting, chasing the crow. In the end, the falcons ate the crow, showing the birds to agree with owl. Owl liked how he got approval, and decided that the falcons would create the lore for these chicks. The two falcons agreed, and the First Birds tradition was born. In the end, most had children with the cat, and the three children of each of the birds and cats were born. However, two in each of the litters died of not being able to adapt, and the survivors were called Catalonals.

The Infection-
    After the first Catalonals were born, Crow was unhappy with what they'd done. So, in return, he possessed a Catalonal kit named Jinhes and found a way to infect him. He then left Jinhes, but carried the infected bite in his beak, and began to bite the nearby catalonals to get the rebellion started. He created the religion of Infectors (those who are infected) and told it all to Jinhes, granting the mind-controlled dummy the power to never wither. However, before he could spread the infection to the rest of them, Owl found Crow's spirit, and banished him onto one of the oldest Infectors, Relkhesaible (Catalonal name Wiklua). He seeks to leave the planet to this day.

Name Lore:

Mother to daughter names-
Daughters always influence their mother's names, but change their first letter of their name to their father's. If there is no mother, they take on their parent's most similar to them. They do not always have to be spelled the same, because names don't always make sense otherwise. The only exceptions to the first letter is if they confuse their gender or name it after someone else (Ex: Gyra after Geu, Fira's friend)

               Fira -> Gyra

Father to son names-
Similar to the daughter naming, sons borrow their father's name, but instead borrow their grandpa's name (from the mother's side). If there is no father, they take on their parent's most similar to them, but with the other parent's name as the first letter. The only exceptions to the first letter is if they confuse their gender or name it after someone else (Ex: Feu after his mother, Frais)

Code names (Infected)-
Flingors get infected in pairs (Ex: Golleel and Seu, sibling pairs), and start with simple names, with half swapped between the two (Golleel to Golleu, Seu to Seel). Eventually, at the 3rd stage, they take on their last victim's family name (the ira in Fira) and add it to their own (Golleu to Golleueity (goll-oo-i-tee) and Seel to Seelestra). At the 5th stage when they duplicate, they each take on the flingor's letter name (the F in Fira) that was nearest to them and trade their letter name with theirs (Golleueity to Solleueity and Folleueity). Before withering, they take on the species name closest to them and trade it with the remaining part of their original family name (Solleueity to Sdeereueity and Folleueity to Fwolfeueity) and after becoming a planet, their code name becomes their real name.

First Bird names-
The first birds has a naming style that was really complicated. The first tree they'd be on's species would be the second letter of their name (I for ivory palm), the bird species being the third (R for robin), and the other letters besides the first would be added on by their parent later in life to usually represent personality (A was added for being ambitious). For some reason, the letter name (first letter) would always be a b, probably relating to being a bird.

Trainee Lore

Every 12 (so) months, a flingor egg (usually a ravencrown) is stolen by Earthruler Jinhes and brought to Owl/owl's son to get sent to Relkhesaible. Once they are sent, they hatch into a soulform and serve Crow's soulform as he trains them. This was originally set up so Crow could get enough strength from training to escape from Relkhesaible back to Earth to start the revolution. These Infectors are called Trainees. The last trainee automatically raises the baby trainee until it is old enough to go (3 months), and then the last trainee battles crow (this is the power-gaining part) to get them sent back to Earth and be automatically a 3rd stage infector with more capabilities (fire powers, ect.). Before this happens, though, at 6 months old, the trainee can be sent on missions on earth, but they cannot be seen.
